ASHLEY BRIDGEWATER, mindfulness coach

ASHLEY BRIDGEWATER holds a MA in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she wrote her thesis, Metta Meditation: An Inquiry into perceivable shifts in Interpersonal Perspective. Her knowledge and training in mindfulness focuses on the development of present moment awareness, focused attention, emotional navigation, regulation and cultivation of positive states. She began her meditation and yoga practice while working as a music teacher in New York City. Here in San Diego, Ashley is a qualified MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) teacher through UCSD Center for Mindfulness and an MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion) 8-week program instructor. Ashley’s transformative personal experience with yoga and meditation inspires her to share with others. Ashley offers meditation facilitation, coaching and consulting through her business, Mettakind.
