WHAT WE DO

Project Blank puts on performances probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
— Madison Weil, ABC10 News

Project [BLANK] is a San Diego-based arts nonprofit that produces immersive, interdisciplinary events and performances, including chamber music concerts, art exhibitions, and contemporary operas. We work in collaboration with visual artists, technologists, musicians, and composers—creators who rethink the myriad connections between audience, performer, music, material, and space.

MISSION

Project [BLANK] creates novel, multidisciplinary experiences that challenge and reframe the community’s relationship to art and music. We build collaborative connections in our city and across the border, providing new and exciting creative opportunities for local and multinational musicians, artists, and audiences.

VISION

The [BLANK] space in our name is a reminder that art is most exciting when it resists classification, defies expectation, and transcends borders. We are committed to using our platform to explore and engage with urgent contemporary subjects, advocate for social justice, advance inclusion in the arts, and break down barriers in the artistic sphere. We are proud members of a vibrant borderland community, and we aspire to create boundary-crossing new works that challenge conventions, ignite dialogue, and cultivate a more inclusive, dynamic arts landscape.
